We’re excited to launch a new addition to our schedule: a teen-only Muay Thai class every Saturday from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. This program is designed for ages 12–17 and creates a space where teenagers can train together, learn together, and grow together.
Why a Teen-Only Class?
Training in a smaller, age-specific group means more personal attention from coaches and a focus on each student’s development. Teens get the chance to train with partners who are closer to their own age, size, and experience level, which makes the work more relatable and effective. Whether it’s learning a new technique, holding pads, or sparring drills, having evenly matched training partners makes progress smoother and more rewarding.

Building Bonds Through Hard Work
Muay Thai is more than just striking—it’s about the friendships and bonds forged through the grind. When teens sweat, struggle, and succeed together, they form connections that go beyond the mats. This class gives them a social outlet that’s active, challenging, and fun, all while building discipline and respect.
Leadership and Growth
Another benefit of the Teen Muay Thai class is the chance to grow into leadership roles. As students progress, they’ll not only sharpen their skills but also develop confidence in guiding others. Through the Muay Thai Ontario system, teens can pursue opportunities to become assistant coaches, setting them on a path to become the next generation of leaders in the sport.

Fun, Energy, and Confidence
Of course, training at this age isn’t just about discipline and structure—it’s also about having fun. Teens will enjoy an energetic, supportive environment where they can test themselves, learn new techniques, and feel the satisfaction of improvement. Every class is a mix of hard work, laughter, and the kind of confidence that carries over into everyday life.

A Strong Start on Saturdays
This Saturday class gives teens a dedicated space of their own. With smaller groups, personalized attention, and a focus on teamwork, it’s a unique opportunity to train seriously while enjoying the process.
We’re looking forward to seeing the group grow together, push each other, and continue building the next generation of Roots athletes and leaders.
